City Compost

The Compost Site is located behind Public Works Buildings at 695 Cokato St E.

It is for Cokato Residents only and is monitored. No specified hours. Compostable paper bags should only be used - No Plastic.
Piles are distinguishable (i.e., leaves & grass clippings, brush, tree branches).
There is a compost pile that can be taken from (usually behind the other piles)
No other items, such as rocks should be removed.
Hot ash should only be placed by the dirt piles.
Please keep garbage out of the Compost Site, so it can continue to be available to residents.
